Quintessential Black Sweater: Review

J.Crew Factory: Crewneck Sweater in Extra Soft Yarn (One word: OBSESSED. This is a must purchase and on sale this holiday season for only $30. RUN!) Old Navy Mid Rise Dark Wash Slim Straight Jeans (These are some of my favorite, affordable jeans. Wearing size 20. Available in straight & plus sizes. Women’s Silk Neck Scarf (Okay, yes – every single person that saw me made flight attendant jokes, but in reality – that’s exactly what I was going for and took it as a compliment. Plus, it’s ADORABLE! I love rocking my own style – reminder *do you, baby!) Amazon Essentials Women’s Loafer (Another piece in my closet I couldn’t live without. These are only $23, fit like butter, and come in multiple colors. Just go buy yourself a pair. You can thank me later.

Once again, I’m back to share with you some of my favorite staple pieces. One piece that is a MUST in any fall/winter wardrobe is the quintessential black sweater for women. In reality, I would take the classic black, wool sweater over a little black dress ANYDAY!

Anyways, I found the perfect, extra soft wool sweater and I’m here to share all the deets!

Crewneck Sweater in Extra Soft Yarn Review:
  • True to Size – I am wearing a 2x in this sweater. I would definitely call it true to size, especially since it’s supposed to give you a cozy, oversized, comfort type of look. Available in xxs-3x. (You know how much I love that J.Crew Factory now has 1x-3x available in most of their items.
  • Made with Extra Soft Wool Yarn – along with acrylic, nylon, and elastane giving it an extra snuggly vibe.
  • It’s No-Itch! Y’all, this is a major plus for me. I have extremely sensitive skin, so the fact that this sweater has a flawless touch to the skin is one of the main reasons I have purchased it in multiple colors.
  • Dress Up or Dress Down – being such a versatile sweater, this look can easily be paired with jeans for a casual Sunday out or around the house. If you want to spice things up, pair it with a peter pan collared button down and some festive accessories. Moreover, making it perfect for a holiday gathering or girls night.
  • It comes in NINE colors!!!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL. It’s currently on sale for only $30, which means you know I went and bought it in multiple colors. I started off with the black and the acorn color and just expanded from there.
  • Machine Wash: I mean, could it get any better than that? Talk about convenient and easy.

In conclusion, this is being added to my “all time favorites” list!
